Air Jordan 4 “Pink Dinosaur” Custom

The latest reconstructions of the Air Jordan line has always been worth of sneaker news, but the custom designed Pink Dinosaur Air Jordan 4 is definitely worth more than just a few words of recognition.

Customized by Maggi, a Russian designer, the Pink Dinosaur get its name from the shockingly, eye-catching, hand printed pink that covers practically every area of the shoes. The inside is made of leather, making it largely comfortable, a midsole of Grey cement and a padded tongue.

Pink Dinosaur
Judging from the description, you can probably see where the “Dinosaur” name comes from. To top it off, the exterior is crocodile-textured leather, creating distinct patterns each time you take a step. Unlike real dinosaurs however, this pink Air Jordan 4 is designed to be light on your feet while keeping the soles well-cushioned. Like all other models, it would be perfect for heavy uses but thanks to the bright pink color, it would take a while before you need to wash the shoes.

In fact, the crocodile-like texture of the exterior prevents creases from being too noticeable. With a little dirt and much use, the Air Jordan 4 can actually look cooler compared to the brand new version!

Eye-Popping Designs
Aside from the hand-printed pink, there are no other bold colors added into the Air Jordan 4 Pink Dinosaur. The bottom parts are a combination of grey, black, and white with the shoelaces also done in deep, basic black. This is actually a good choice for Maggi since the pink is already eye-popping and draws the attention of the crowd. Any other color might make it seem tawdry rather than the ‘so hot it’s cool’ the Jordan Air 4 is known for.

Leather Interior
There’s a little issue about the interior though – leather isn’t exactly known for its ability to release heat. It may be hot for the feet when worn for long periods of time, but were hoping that Maggi did something with the design to solve this problem!

The pink design obviously makes this a shoe for girls, but Maggi managed to create a reconstruction that doesn’t lose the original touch of the Air Jordan 4. At first look, you might find yourself wondering about the line but after a closer check, it’s affiliation with other Air Jordan models is incredibly clear.

Keep checking on sneaker news and find out what other recon structured Air Jordan models are set to be released in the market today. The Pink Dinosaur is actually just one of the few so if this is not your style, you’ve got more to choose from!
